Official selection at Marano Ragazzi Spot Festival 2017
After the official selection at Sottodiciotto and the screening out of competition at Castellinaria (the international festival of children's cinema of Bellinzona) the short film "Ninhursag" directed by Davide Romeo Meraviglia and made possible thanks to the collaboration with the Institute "Aldo Moro" of Cerro al Lambro (MI) was selected at the Marano Ragazzi Spot Festival in the "short film" category.
The Marano Ragazzi Spot Festival will take place from November 27th to December 2nd with the purpose of giving a positive input to the youth of the are, often plagued by the Camorra.
The event is created by the partnership between LIBERA (an important association which fights mafia) and the "Pubblicità Progresso" Foundation. The festival wants to create an entire community able to transform its own city for a whole week by creating laboratory-campus, forge of emotions, reflections and participation.
Over the past few years, the Marano Ragazzi Spot Festival has gained the High Patronage of the President of the Republic and the patronage of the highest institutions of the nation. In 2009 it was awarded the High Quality Award for Children for best initiative.
"I am enormously happy - said Davide Romeo Meraviglia - that Ninhursag will be shown in such a special occasion. The film is a story addressed to kids made by the kids themselves and I could not imagine a more engaging festival than Marano to connect to young audiences with their own language. It is something that we as adults too often forget".
